Question by : how do i establish a business relationship with large website offering similar products?
I have an idea for a small website to sell sporting goods and equipment. I have heard of small sites partnering up with large websites.

The small website is able to sell the larger sites products without the customer knowing.
The small site pays a monthly fee and collects some commission on sales.

I have been told this doesn’t include a third party just the 2 different websites. What is this called?

I am not wanting to use any “affiliate marketing” websites…..

As an affiliate marketer, how I drive traffic to my website is a primary objective if I wish to sell the products and/or services that I am promoting. Wothout doing this I can never hope to make any money with my affiliate marketing programs. So how do I drive traffic and advance sales? I have to drive traffic to my sites before any sales are made. The more people that know of the products are being offering, the more products I will sell.How To Increase Website Traffic:1. The first step is to optimize my website for the search engines. The most lucrative sites online are the ones that are most often seen and visited. There are many methods used to boost visibility on the Internet, but the best ones involve search engine optimization (SEO). The objective of SEO is to assist your site in getting higher rankings on the search engines. If you have ever used a search engine, such as Google, you will see that any search (keyword)will return thousands, if not millions of results. Most people do not look through page after page of results; most will only look at the sites shown on the first page. The sites listed on the first page will bring in the highest amount of traffic, putting these sites in a healthier position to generate money.2. The next thing I do to drive traffic to my website is to provide fresh content. Your site must be constantly maintaned and updated if you want your visitors to keep coming back. Provide useful content and tools that will inform and educate your target audience. Make your site is easy to navigate and make sure that your links work the way that they should. Broken websites are extremely frustraiting and once your site has been labeled as such people will not want to come back.3. I then try to build an online community.
